What information may be processed when you browse the site, watch an embedded video, follow an external link or contact the publisher.
The site does not provide an on-site patient account, diagnostic service or consultation form. ASMED consultation buttons lead to a separate external website governed by its own privacy notice.
1. Who operates this site
Turkish Hair Transplant Guide is an ASMED-affiliated editorial project. The publisher operating turkishhairtransplant.net acts as controller for information collected directly through this website, such as analytics choices and correspondence sent to the publisher.

2. Information collected directly
The current site does not create user accounts, accept payments, store patient files or collect health information through an on-site form. We may receive personal information only if you voluntarily email us—for example your name, email address and the content of your message.
Do not include photographs, diagnoses, treatment records, identification documents or other sensitive information in an editorial or privacy email. For a medical consultation, use the official clinic pathway linked from the site.
3. Hosting, delivery and security
The website is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. When a visitor requests a page, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to route traffic, deliver content, prevent abuse and maintain security. This may include IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, system configuration, traffic-routing data and security signals.
These technical records are used for website availability, performance, fraud prevention, attack mitigation and troubleshooting. Cloudflare processes such information under its own contractual and privacy terms.
4. Google Analytics
With your permission, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and improve content. The measurement ID is G-VXCTWQ8GKT.
The default Analytics implementation may process information such as page views, session statistics, approximate geographic location, referring source, and browser and device characteristics. We use this information to understand which pages are useful, how visitors reach the site and where technical improvements may be needed.
Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics.” Choosing “Reject analytics” does not prevent you from using the website. Your choice is stored locally in your browser so the site can remember it.

User- and event-level Analytics data available to the publisher is retained for no longer than 14 months. Aggregated statistical reports may remain available for a longer period. Analytics data may be processed by Google and its service infrastructure outside your country.
5. YouTube patient interviews
The Results section includes an embedded YouTube playlist. The player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com, which limits the use of an embedded view for personalising the viewer’s YouTube browsing and advertising experience.
When the embedded player loads or you interact with it, Google/YouTube may still receive technical information such as IP address, device details, referrer information and player interactions. If you are signed into Google or YouTube, your interaction may also be associated with your account according to Google’s settings and policies.
You may avoid the embedded player by not interacting with it, or open the playlist directly on YouTube and manage your preferences there.
6. External links and consultation services
The website links to ASMED, physician websites, YouTube and other external resources. When you follow a link, the destination site receives your request and applies its own privacy, cookie and data-retention practices. We do not control information you submit directly to those services.
The ASMED consultation page may request photographs, contact details and health information. That information is not collected by turkishhairtransplant.net and is governed by the receiving clinic’s notices and patient processes.
7. Legal bases
- Consent: optional Google Analytics storage and measurement where consent is required.
- Legitimate interests and technical necessity: delivering pages, maintaining security, preventing abuse, diagnosing errors and responding to correspondence.
- Legal obligation: retaining or disclosing limited information where required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
8. Retention
- Analytics user- and event-level data: up to 14 months.
- Analytics consent preference: until you change it, clear browser storage or use another browser/device.
- Editorial or privacy correspondence: generally up to 12 months after the matter is resolved, unless a longer period is necessary for legal or recordkeeping reasons.
- Infrastructure and security records: retained according to operational necessity and the applicable service-provider arrangements.
9. International processing
Cloudflare, Google and YouTube operate internationally. Technical and analytics information may therefore be processed in countries outside Türkiye, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or your country of residence. The relevant providers describe their transfer safeguards and processing arrangements in their own privacy materials.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection; to withdraw consent; and to complain to a competent data-protection authority. These rights are not absolute and may depend on the type of processing and applicable exemptions.
